Air Force working-dog transport: qualify the complete logistics chain.
The Air Force’s October 31 Sources Sought notice seeks potential sources for overseas shipping of military and government working dogs to JBSA Lackland, Texas.
The 18-page draft scope covers European pickup, crate handling, airline reservations, customs paperwork and climate-controlled ground delivery. It also describes a ground-delivery option to designated European military air bases for government-operated flights.
CDG’s capture takeaway: map which parts your team can perform directly and where transport, ground-handling and emergency veterinary partners are needed. The draft includes continuous temperature alerts, care during airline delays and replacement-vehicle availability within one hour of a breakdown.
